TH 84: The Cycles of Time and the Divine Intervention

The Scriptures mention about the cycles of Time or yugas as they are called in India through which humanity evolves in a spiral manner. But there are also spaces of Time when there is the Divine Intervention, either directly as the Avatara or indirectly through the Vibhutis to hasten the process. The advent of truth has found its way often by mighty divine personalities and reduced the span of time for the required development of consciousness. From some of his letters it is evident that Sri Aurobindo has compressed time to effectuate the descent of Supramental power in earth. Since 1956 the Supramental consciousness permanently settled in earth atmosphere which means the age of truth has formally started and falsehood is bound to change. Our work is to allow this advent in our life so that we can be a part of that divine adventure.
