This talk touches upon some of the salient aspects of spiritual living. Behind many accepted social or religious truths of human life we can see a spiritual truth. As the whole humanity is not ready to accept spiritual truths directly, they are given in different colours through social, moral or religious norms so that they are accepted. When these truths are followed without proper knowledge or out of fear, they hardly help in the growth of a person, because growth comes with the growth of the state of consciousness. We complain about outer atmosphere, but the truth is when we change our inner state, the outer atmosphere changes accordingly. Those who want to lead a spiritual life, have to be even more careful, carry an atmosphere in themselves and guard themselves from the contagious elements of adverse suggestions.
