To do yoga is to be conscious. We are conscious of only a small strip of Space and Time. We do not understand the movement of time. Respecting time and doing the work means to be conscious about our commitment to the Divine in the given situation.
Our mind, heart and life forces are not in harmony and they constantly fight and take ignorant, egoistic and impulsive decisions. We have to learn to listen to the psychic voice which does not suppress any of these but elevates them to their real truth and beauty.
The psychic gets its full opening when we are open to the Divine. But it gets hardly any chance since our mental and vital beings are constantly at war and making noise. We have to be conscious about our thoughts, our speech, our actions, our emotions. This is one of the first steps on the path of yoga.
