TH 56: Fate, Free-will and Evolution

The whole life and its experiences are a preparation and the evolution of the psychic entity within us. Our ordinary nature has no free will, though it feels like it has. But it is an illusion. Free Will in the true sense starts only when we have found our soul, the psychic being within man. At the same time there should be an all-round growth, a progress in different parts of our nature. By the growth of all the members, by true evolution, divine can be better manifested which is the purpose of creation.

Sri Aurobindo’s ‘Savitri’ is the wonderful story of the human and divine play and evolution of our human soul. From ordinary life till the highest experience, Sri Aurobindo reveals the divine principles so beautifully in his unique revelation Savitri’. Love being the Supreme’s transforming mould, purifies the being and life and prepares them for the highest truth.
