The inner attitude of Faith, its’ meaning, significance and importance in sadhana. The challenges of life and how they enhance the need in faith and prepare for the spiritual journey. Along with faith we need Prarthana or prayer. Prayer must be living as mechanical prayer is hardly effective. To pray mechanically without faith and merely as a parrot-like lesson does not have strength to rise upwards to the Highest. To be fully effective, the prayer must come from the depth of the heart with joy, a prayer that is ardent and sincere. Equipped with sraddha and prarthana, the sadhaka can walk in the path of yoga confidently as he can feel the joy and protection of the Divine always with him.
